Camouflaging Allery Eyes with Concealer

Concealer can be considered a wonderful tool in our beauty arsenal. If used properly it can drastically enhance our looks. It can brighten a tired face, cover blemishes and it can totally conceal the effect of allergy eyes. However, many of us find it difficult to apply correctly.

Having seasonal allergies, and the effect this has on my eyes is not pretty. For years I attempted to camouflage my dark circles and red rimmed eyes. I would apply concealer and it seemed to just emphasis everything I wanted to cover or camouflage.

Without any makeup.

Standard practice was to apply the concealer under the eye... directly on top of the dark circles.

This never worked for me...
Then one day I stumbled onto a tutorial on how to wear concealer the modern way and it was like the heavens opened up and the angels started to sing. Well, perhaps it wasn’t all that but it has most certainly made a difference.

I know I wasn’t the only woman who found concealer daunting and/or ineffective. But, once you know the basics and try the application process below, you'll find concealer may be your best beauty purchase to date. In fact, you may skip foundation completely.

Basically, it takes only seconds to perfect.

You apply the concealer in a triangle shapeand blend it down into your check area and up into your brow bone area. And, an additional tip for the red rimmed eyes that allergies cause... use a flesh toned eye pencil and line the rim of the eyes.

Easy peasy!

Here is a new way verse old way.
